A good path leads around the reservoir and also leads on to the other reservoirs and Roddlesworth Woods.
There is limited roadside parking in Abbey Village.

The Roddlesworth reservoirs are a chain of three lakes that are easy to visit and have walking routes all round.
The lower of the two Roddlesworth Reservoirs has an impressive spillway build over one hundred years ago.
The upper reservoir at Roddlesworth is good for walking routes through Roddlesworth Woods or from Abbey Village.
