Brincscall is a village situated at the foot of the Wheelton and Withnell moors, plenty of places to explore and good wildlife nearby.
The non-natural but very pleasant Goit - the stream that notably passes by White Coppice flows by Brinscall and is in-fact partially culverted there. Once South of Brinscall the stream leaves the culvert and flows through the Wheelton Plantation and on to White Coppice. It’s an easy and mostly flat walk and popular with dog walkers, though can be muddy.
Brinscall is also a good area for heading up onto the moorland where there are many ruined farms.
